Program
Responsible for
planning monthly programs, including speaker arrangements, that will
enhance and benefit all members. The committee shall also provide gifts
for and send thank you notes to all speakers. This committee is also
responsible for developing programs to promote networking and referrals
among membership.

Responsible for
promoting, expanding, stabilizing and orienting the membership.
Maintains an updated database and nametags of all members and conveys
information to the other officers.

Finance
Responsible for
collecting monthly meeting fees, annual dues, and paying organizational
expenses. Responsible for tracking and disbursing scholarship funds, and
preparing the annual organization budget.

Media
Responsible
for publicizing the activities and programs of the organization,
including monthly meetings, through available local news media and the
organization website. Responsible for keeping the members informed of
community events and news. Responsible for production of monthly
organization newsletter to keep members informed of programs and
activities of the organization.

Ways and
Means
This committee
contains four subcommittees which are: Location Committee, Vendor
Committee, Auction Committee and Raffle Committee. They are responsible
for the planning and execution of projects to raise money to provide the
Organization with funds for special projects.

Responsible for
correspondence to the members by sending cards for birthday,
congratulatory or sympathy purposes. Also responsible for greeting
members and guests at each regular meeting, providing an overall
goodwill in the organization, as well as the set up and take down of
tables and decorations before and after each regular meeting.

Responsible for
relating with school personnel regarding applications and procedures
pertaining to scholarships as well as communicating with Media Committee
regarding publicity of scholarships available, application instructions
and the announcement of winners. They will also select the winners of
each scholarship award.

The Bylaws
committee ensures that the Organization’s Bylaws adhere to Robert’s
Rules of Order and remain an accurate reflection of the needs of the
Organization. The committee reviews the bylaws and makes recommendations
for changes to the executive board as necessary.
